Settling your nervous system can feel scary when you're used to living in survival mode. That’s why we do this work together. Because something settles when you're surrounded by others who are learning to slow down too. When you hear someone take a deep exhale, you breathe a little deeper. Your body feels a little safer. It becomes easier to notice what’s really going on—in your body, your heart, your mind, and your nervous system.

Our Root Collective Flow classes strengthen your muscle of somatic awareness. To notice what you feel, when you feel it—and to learn how to move, breathe, and release what’s being held.

Root Collective is an invitation to find safety in stillness and belonging.

It’s where we go to soften, to reclaim our sense of agency and self-trust, and to be surrounded by like-hearted others choosing to stop holding it all alone. To move, breathe, feel and heal in community.

Try our signature class, Root Collective Flow

This class is currently offered on Friday mornings from 9-10:30 in Sarasota at Mind Body Medicine of Florida. Join us to connect more deeply to yourself and others through journaling, guided discussion, and somatic movement practices designed to help you release pent-up stress and emotions from your body while regulating your nervous system.

There is no wrong way to move your body in a Root Collective Flow class. You get to decide how you move on your mat. Or, how to hang out in child’s pose for as long as your body needs. Whether you’re completely new to mindful movement, or a seasoned practitioner, this class will teach you how to move based on your own intuition.

Root Collective is an in-person community devoted to slowing down, coming home to the body, and finding steadiness in shared rhythm. Through weekly Root Collective Flow, seasonal gatherings, and time to connect, we create space to regulate the nervous system, move with intention, and feel held in something real. This is not therapy — it’s a place to land, to breathe, and to remember you don’t have to do life alone. Come as you are and find where you belong.
